If you have a Fighting-type Pokemon, you can check Challenge Rock here each day for a Star Piece, and an Ether is hidden above the puddle to the northeast. Ascend the stairway and you'll find two trainers, a Black Belt and a Battle Girl, who each have one Timburr. Go east of the Antidotes to fight a Youngster with a new Bug/Poison-type Pokemon, Venipede, and a Lillipup. If you take the path in the southwest, you'll find a Super Potion in plain sight, some more double battle grass, and a dead end with a Tinymushroom hidden in a small puddle. The item ball to your right is an Antidote, and in a puddle below it is a hidden second Antidote. Beyond the male Toddler is a Great Ball on the ground.Ĭontinuing south from the Preschoolers, you'll face a Youngster who has three Tympole before emerging in a section with a large puddle. South of the Nurse, you'll see two Preschoolers hanging out on the traintracks: a male with a Roggenrola and a female with a Petilil and Cottonee.
Any of these Pokemon are worth owning at this point in the game.

Sawk is more common in Black, while Throh is more common in White the rarer fighter for your version has a 5% chance to appear in a shaking patch of grass in place of Audino. Also found here, but much more rare, are Throh and Sawk, two Fighting-type counterparts dressed in gis. N used two of them: the Water-type tadpole, Tympole, who gains a Ground-type in its second and third stages, and the Fighting-type Timburr, whose third stage has one of the highest Attack stats in the game but requires trading, much like Machamp. The tall grass in this area contains four new Pokemon. Go through the break in the fence to her right to find an Ether. Go south to find a Nurse who has a Munna after battling her, she'll heal your team as many times as you need. If you return briefly to Nacrene City and go through the hole in the fence left of the Cafe, you can reach a dead end with a hidden Super Potion. This is no longer an HM, but you can still teach it to your Pokemon to break small rocks on the overworld, much like in Generation II. Talk to the first girl you see and she'll give you TM94 - Rock Smash, a weak Fighting-type move that has a 50% chance to lower the target's Defense.
